Synaesthesia is a neurological condition that causes another sense to activate when one sense does. It's of particular interest to music psychologists because it means some people can see music.

ReplyDeleteThe second video was hard for me to watch, due to the rapidly flashing lights. If Rez is a reasonably accurate depiction of synaesthesia, then I might not listen to much music. (Or maybe my brain would have figure out how to deal with it.)
